How did we get our funny name? Pronounced CHRIS , SYL , DEN....

Chrisylden Crafts was established in 1996 when Chris, Sylvia and Denis opened a small gift shop on Mersea Island , which is just off the coast of Britain's oldest recorded town Colchester in Essex.

After 27 years the shop closed at the end of Septemeber 2023 but personalised items and gifts  can still be ordered from Chris for delivery to Mersea or posted elsewhere.  You will also see Chris at local events where all items can also be ordered and purchased.
